I came across these photos of Faith's first Christmas home with us on my computer. (all the rest are saved on a CD and in albums) This was such a Christmas of wonder for her! She was 18 months and had been home for 8 months. She actually just started taking her first steps right before Christmas so this was huge excitement for us! She looooved the Christmas tree and was always doing her best to take her steps over to it. I remember this Christmas had been one of so many changes for us with celebrating our daughters first Christmas together as a family, we had to have our 14 year old Golden Retriever Sam put to sleep that August and it was our first Christmas without her, we were stationed in England and knew we would be retiring that next year and had no clue where or what we would be doing. I remember being so especially proud of the boys that Christmas because with all the changes we had been through they never complained about anything and always adjusted so well to all our adventures. I also remember at that time with all the uncertainties we had in our life everything seemed just perfect and right because we had our daughter home with us.............
