Faith loves all holidays, but she really looooves Christmas. She loves everything about it.......the decorations, the Christmas songs (her favorite is Mariah Carry's All I Want for Christmas is You), her advent calender....first thing in the morning when she wakes up she shouts out "Now can I do number (what ever number it is that day and sure enough she remembers exactly what number we are on each morning!) She loves getting dressed up in her Santa hat, mittens, and scarf. She just loves preparing for Christmas! She is doing far better than me! This week she helped me work at Reed's school in their Santa Store they set up each year. It is so cute to watch the kids shop for their family and ponder over what to get everyone. I have many gifts from the Santa shop which include tarnished rings and earrings that turned my skin green, little ceramic tea cups with pieces broken off, picture frames that are much too small to actually put a photo in....you get the picture. They are just the best gifts though! Faith did her shopping for the family and of course had to pick a little something out for herself....a small hand held hungry hippo game that has already broken, of course! Faith also worked very hard this week making little gift bags for her class at school. She sat down one evening for an hour and made all 10 of them. I was very impressed with her attention span! I expected her to do a few each night, but she was determined to get them all finished. It was so cute to watch her work so intently. Here are some photos of her working on them. We bought some crayons, Chinese yoyos and small ornaments to put in them.
