It's Monday!

And it is cold, wet, and dreary here! Suppose to be like this all week, yuk! We're having a lazy day with the kiddos home from school for MLK Holiday. We didn't do too much of anything this week-end unless you count entertaining a house full of kids. The boys had five of their neighborhood friends over for most of the week-end. Their friends are 2 sets of brothers and their really great well-behaved kids. But put 7 boys together no matter how well-behaved they are and you have NOISE! Not to mention a little girl that has to keep right up with all the boys! "Her boys!"as she calls them! Saturday was actually a beautful day out so we spent most of the day outside as we knew the sunshine wouldn't last. Here are a few pictures of Faith from a stop at the park on our walk Saturday......................

The boys made up a game called "criminal" that they played all week-end! Just so you get the idea of what I put up with all week-end I will describe the game to you...I know you are dying to know;) It all started because Reed has a small sensory detector that will go off( with this really annoying sound) every time someone moves in front of it. Well they pick one person to be the criminal. That person stays downstairs and counts to a certain number. Oh, and yes they have to play in the house because the detector does not work outside...so they say. I think it's just alot more fun for them to annoy me!) While the criminal waits downstairs the rest of the gang goes upstairs and hides the sensory detector where they think the criminal will walk past it. Then they all hide. The criminal then goes upstairs and tries to find someone without letting the detector go off. If he finds someone without setting off the detector then that person is "the criminal." But if he makes the detector go off (this is where it really gets good!) everyone comes out of hiding and runs downstairs after the criminal until they all tackle him down to the ground. And that's it....their criminal game that they play over, and over, and over.........exciting I know. The funniest part is watching Faith join right in............

Faith playing criminal in her hiding place (the hall closet..shhhh!)

criminal attack!

Well, "the gang" is all here now as I speak and I am not much up for "criminal" today so I better go investigate!

That is too funny! My oldest has that same detector, but I'll keep this game a secret from him :) I just love how Faith is right in there with the boys :)
