It's been one of those days...................... UPDATE*

Faith is not feeling well at all! It has been a rough day! It started last night at about 2:00 in the morning when I awoke to her calling for me. I ran into her room and found she had thrown-up all over. Poor baby. After getting her and the bed cleaned up and getting her tucked back in I hoped for the best that it was a one time thing and she would feel better in the morning. Well you know these things never work that way and as soon as I fell back in bed the second episode began! This time Dale got up and cleaned it up while I took care of Faith. Tucked in for the third time that night she asked me to stay with her. It melted my heart as this is not like her at all so I knew she felt horrible. I stayed in with her and 20 minutes later I knew we would be up all night.....yes, she threw up again. This time we just camouflaged our bed with towels and put her in bed with us knowing we had a long night ahead of us. It went on every 20 minutes her waking up and feeling sick until about 7:00 in the morning. I think I slept for about 2 hours and then got up to start all the washing. I let the boys know that Faith was sick and that there is a chance they will be getting it too ( these things always seem to go around the entire family) The first thing Reed said when I told him Faith threw up was , "eeewww can I see it!"...boys!
When Faith woke up I realized she was running a fever so I gave her motrin. I had her drink some liquids and she broke the fever and threw up again. And that is how Faith's day went. She was either sleeping or throwing up. My poor baby, it is so tough watching her like this not being able to do anything. She was so cute when I asked her if she wanted to try to eat a cracker (meaning a saltine) she said, "a firecracker?" She thought I meant a firecracker popsicle. So I gave her a popsicle and she ate it unfortunately just couldn't keep it down.
She is asleep right now so we will see how tonight goes. Hopefully everyone will get a goodnight sleep.

trying a bite of her "fire cracker"

I'm not too sure about this

I think she has "sympathy pains" for Faith

To top off the week-end I am fighting an ear infection. I went to the Dr. on Friday after having an earache all week, By Friday it hurt to even chew. Turns out I have a bad ear infection and am on antibiotics. My first ear infection ever. Dr. was surprised I had no other symptoms.

The weather is the worse! It has been (as Faith says) raining cats and dogs....and there is no end in sight! The whole week is suppose to be cold and wet. Guess it is just that time of year for bad weather and being sick!

*Faith is feeling MUCH better today!! Makes me very happy! We had another long night with her waking up around 2:00 again, but this time it was all coming out the "other end!" (sorry)
It wasn't as bad as the throwing up. Was tough getting up to get the boys off for school after such a long night, but we managed. I could tell she was feeling better as she had more color in her face and she was a little more of her "chatty" self. She has only been on liquids and ice pops all day and she also had a rice cake. Didn't have an appetite for anything else. So I think we are on the road to recovery and I am keeping my fingers crossed the boys do not end up with it! We'll see what the rest of the week brings.......................

Oh, you guys had some weekend! I hope Faith is feeling better soon (and her momma!) - also hope the boys stay healthy!
Love the pictures of Ruby - she reminds me SO much of our Penny!

I just found your blog and have enjoyed reading it.

I hope your daughter is feeling better. I remember when Taylor had the croup at 12 months old and it was the worst feeling not being able to make her feel better.
