always having someone to hang with!!
(I made a card like this for my sister as she had her second boy recently)
Dean age 5, Reed age 3
Some fun and interesting facts about my boys:
* they are exactly 22 months apart
*when Dean was 2 years old he asked "when can we bring Reed back to the zoo?"
*they have always been and still are best buds! (yes, they have their moments!)
*when Reed was a year and a half he split his forehead open on the edge of the door. Had to have stitches and still has the scar.
*they are both vegetarians (although Reed is still in denial that McDonald chicken nuggets are actually meat, this is the only meat that he eats)
*when Dean was 5 years old he came to me and said "I don't want to eat life." He was very passionate about it so we did not make him eat meat. Reed just kind of followed in his brothers foot steps.
*they have always loved bugs and all creatures. when they were very little they would catch bugs and put them in containers and watch them for hours.
*when we lived in Spain they had these very large black beetles. They caught 2 of these and made a home in an aquarium for them. They feed them dog food and grapes and put wet paper towels in for them to drink water. They kept them as pets for a year! After a year I said it was time to let them go free.
*they adore animals...Dean says he wants to be a veterinarian when he grows up and Reed a zoologist.
*they loooove Star Wars! They watch one of the movies at least once a week. They plan to make a movie using all of their Star Wars legos and figures.
*they have always been early risers! They still wake up around 6:30 every morning even on the week-ends! I was so thankful when they were old enough to wake up on their own.
*they have been to Disneyland, Disney world, and Disney Paris
*they have been to Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Rome, France, Germany, Austria, England, Wales, Gibraltar, Malta, Monte Carlo, and China!
*they have been up the Eiffel Tower
*they have seen the tower of Pisa
*they climbed the Great Wall of China (part of it at least!)
*they attended a British school for 2 years
*with all their adventures they have had HOME is there favorite place to be......they are my homebodies!
*Reeds favorite foods: popcorn, salsa and chips, and subway sandwiches!
*Dean favorite foods: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pizza, and tomato soup.
*they have never been camping yet (they've been in a cabin) I mean the good ole roughing it with sleeping in a tent kind of camping.
*they swam with dolphins in Hawaii last year
*they took an intro to scuba diving in Monterey at the aquarium
*Reed will need braces on his teeth.
*they have never lived in one place more than 3 years.
*they have always dreamed of living in Texas (to be near family)
*they were there to witness the miracle of their sister being placed in our arms and becoming part of our family!

That was a great post ~ they sound like amazing boys :)
What a wonderful post about the boys! I think it is great that they are vegetarians. What strong convictions for ones so young! (My little guy won't eat anything but meat. I guess I'll have to work on him!)
