OUR "11" YEAR OLD!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Reed!!!!! We are so very proud of you and love you our "little man"!!

11 years ago Reed came into this world screaming making sure everyone knew he was here:)! As a baby you were always fussing only happy when being held. As a toddler you were always on the go and always off exploring something......you always had me on my toes! You are strong-willed, stubborn, and determined. You are also very sensitive and sentimental. In 11 years you have lived in Maryland, Tennessee, Spain, England, and now California. You have always looked at our many moves as a new adventure. You can be so impatient, yet you can sit for hours and build a 1000 piece Lego set. You like to act tough on the outside, yet on the inside you have a heart of gold. I remember in the 3rd grade when you brought home a silk caterpillar the teacher gave each student to watch turn into a moth. Your caterpillar did not make it and when it died you cried uncontrollably and we had to bury it. You made a cross to put on it and it upset you so much that this caterpillar never had a chance to turn into the moth it was suppose to become. When each of your gold fish have died, with tears you find a box to place them in, bury them, find a rock to write their name on, and then place a flower on the rock. Our garden has become quite the resting place for fish:) You have filled our lives with excitement and wonder! We look forward to the many more adventures we have to experience with you as you grow up into the wonderful "little man" you are becoming!!!!
