Last week was filled with dancing!!!! Faith had two full dress rehearsals on Tuesday AND Thursday and her recitals on Friday evening AND Saturday afternoon. Whew! This Mommy was pooped out by the time it was all over! It was a real eye opener for me on just how serious these dance recitals are. I grew up in dance and we had our big yearly recitals, but now doing it all as a Mom it puts it all into a whole new perspective!! I helped back stage in their dressing room Friday evening. Trying to keep 15 little girls not only happy and entertained, but their costumes perfect....not an easy job!;)It was an exhausting night for me adding on the excitement of watching Faith up on stage for the first time from behind the curtain. Faith did GREAT for her first time ever on stage. She forgot most of the steps, but hey she was happy and having fun! We only had one little girl that started crying on stage and had to be taken off. ( I felt really bad for her......that stage can be overwhelming) At the end of their routine each girl walks back out on stage and does a turn and a curtsy before setting their rose they held during the dance into a basket. Faith did a perfect curtsy if I say so myself;) We went to watch the show on Saturday afternoon and when Faith went on stage she waved and said "Hi Mommy, hi Daddy!" Of course I was beaming with pride!!!:) I never did take my camera to any of the recitals. You were not suppose to take any photos at all in the dressing room (of course I learned on Friday that this rule seems to be overlooked) and you are not suppose to film or take any flash photos during the recital. They filmed the entire show and have the DVD for you to order. So here are a few photos I took before leaving to one of the dress rehearsals of my "little star".........
(Faith had a pretty bad mosquito bite on her one cheek and the make-up really brought it out)

You must be one proud mommy! She looks just precious in her outfit!!!
She is just the cutest thing in that oufit. She REALLY looks like a living doll!
What a joyful little spirit! The photos are gorgeous! I am imagining our daughter (nearly 3) in the near future! Though not sure yet if she'll be more suited for gymnastics or dancing!!! In either case, she'll be inspired by little Faith!
lots of love from all of us,
