Reed decided when we were at Lego land last month that the only thing he wanted for his birthday this year were LEGOS!!! Instead of having friends over to celebrate he wanted a small family celebration and his LEGOS!!

Reed and all his legos he has built! We went to IKEA this week-end to let him pick a shelf unit out for all his legos and this was his pick!
I was a little worried that Reed would be unhappy not having any friends over to celebrate but at the end of the day these were his words,
"I just have to say that I had a really GREAT birthday!!"
Yeah! I am SO glad!!

Happy Birthday Reed!! I remember the Lego days...my oldest was just like Reed, displaying all his creations...my other 2 just built and destryoed :)

Happy Belated Birthday, Reed! We started asking our boys (9&6) if they;d rather have a party with all their friends or a really nice gift. They choose the gift! having Birthday parties is expensive if they don't really want it!!!
