OH MY............WHAT ARE WE GETTING INTO!

We have been trying to come up with a name for our new little family member....a family of 5 trying to come up with a name has been pretty hilarious! I think we have narrowed it down to 4 to choose from. I attached a link on the side if you would like to join in and take a vote! I would like something cute that goes well with Ruby. So far I am being out voted in my family for the name I want. Yes, this will be a new member of our family on Friday!! Yikes...did I just say that??? I hope we know what we are getting into!!!:)

Ohhhh that face! Too sweet!

We've been talking about getting another dog for a while now, but that's the point....we have just been talking! Dale has really been the one pushing to get another one, not the kids. The thought of getting another dog right now makes me slightly nervous. I have been very content being a one dog family thank you very much. Our first time being doggy parents we did have 2 dogs, but that was before we had 3 kids! It has been awhile since having 2 dogs. We have been talking about what kind of dog we would want to get and the boys want a Beagle. Our first 2 dogs were a Golden and a Beagle and they got along beautifully. Our Beagle (Brittney) lived to be 11 years old and our Golden (Sam) lived to be 14. As much as I loved our Brittney she was not an easy dog and life was an adventure with her! Goldens are just sooooooo easy and life has been so easy and calm since getting our Ruby almost 3 years ago. She really is just the most perfect dog and I am completely content with just our Ruby. But.......my family has other plans!! Of course who will be the one home with a new mischievous puppy???? After doing some begging on Dale's part I decided we could just go and look at some puppies. I tried to persuade everyone into another Golden, but they have their heart set on a Beagle. There happened to be some Beagle puppies in the paper right near us so off we went to look! I have to admit after seeing that face it was very hard not to fall for her. Dale really fell for her and he really wants her....... soooooooo I guess we will soon be a 2 dog family once again:0! We put a deposit down on her and will pick her up on Friday. That will give us some time to get prepared!! I can't help asking myself "What are we getting ourselves into??" "Why are we doing this?" I don't think we know!!!!:)
Now we have to think of puppy names!!!!
