We arrived home late Saturday night after spending Easter break in Texas at Grandma and Grandpa's. It ended up being a pretty rough trip for us as everyone ended up sick! For some reason I was able to escape the "Texas crud" but everyone else felt miserable. Faith came down with it the day after we arrived. She woke up that morning throwing up, fever, and just slept for 3 days. Poor baby! Not a fun way to spend a vacation. Luckily we were just hanging out with family and not on some adventurous trip somewhere. Our main purpose of the trip was to check out locations and schools for our possible move to Texas maybe as soon as this summer. We should know more in the next couple of weeks if this will be happening for us. As much as we love California with the expense of living here and having family in Texas we are hoping this can work out for us. The thought of moving again literally makes me sick to my stomach. It would be our 10th move in the last 17 years and our 1st big move not being in the military. Meaning we will be on our own to do it all.......yikes!
I didn't take many pictures from our trip with everyone feeling so rotten, but did manage to snap a few. All in all the kids had a great Easter just for the fact that they were at Grandma and Grandpa's house. With moving as much as the kids have over the years Grandma and Grandpa's house is the one home that has always remained the same for them over the years and they find comfort in that. It is the same house I grew up in.
Here are some of the photos I managed to take of the kiddos.................
Reed very happily displays his Star War lego sets from Grandma. Also shows off his two front missing teeth! The boys are in heaven at my sisters house as it is full of animals! Seriously! She has
2 dogs
2 cats
2 birds
2 rats
tank of fish
1 snake
1 mouse (that is now named Lucky as it was suppose to be the snakes meal and he never did eat it....is now a pet)
1 hedge hog (yes, I said hedge hog!)

With everyone feeling a little better we went to a wildlife safari where the animals come up to the car to be fed. It was hilarious! This is the first time I was so close to a Long horn! Now we're back home and everyone is well again! Feels good to be back into a routine again! I better enjoy it while I can because I may soon be loosing my mind with a big move!

The wildlife safari looks great!
I can't believe you are thinking of moving again! I hate moving! But I can understand that being closer to family is important. I love having all my family in the same town.
I haven't sent my pics to Michelle yet, I keep forgetting to get them all together at times that I am actually able to do it!
Oh I love all the animals especially the zebra! Well, except for the snake~ creepy!!!
How fun coloring eggs, sorry everyone was sick, but it looks like it was still memorable and a special time!
