I am finally getting around to posting some photos from our trip last week-end to Mendocino. We had such a great time and the views were breath taking! We were able to find a hotel over looking the ocean that took pets. It is a very pet friendly area so I am so glad we brought Ruby along. We spent the entire time playing on the beach and taking hikes. Such a relaxing time....there is something so peaceful about the ocean.
We went to one beach called "glass beach" (I don't have any photos of this as it was quite a hike to get there and I didn't want to have to worry about the camera) This beach was used as a dump area many many years ago ( I know, it sounds gross). Well the beach is all full of pretty glass rocks that the tides have washed up over the years from glass that was dumped there. We spent a great deal of time exploring the area and picking up small pretty treasures to bring home.
