Happy St. Patricks Day!! And some other ramblings......................

First I just have to wish everyone a Happy St. Patty's Day! With my name I just feel obligated to spread some Irish cheer! :)

Well, Daddy experienced first hand what a set mind Faith has on what she wears. She definitely has her own sense of style already. I am always telling him how picky she is about what she will wear and not wear and he just does not believe me....well, until now! We ran to Kohl's the other night so Dale could get a new golf shirt for a golf tournament from work. I went to look for some things for the boys and Faith stayed with Daddy. When I caught up with them (about an hour later) they were in shoes and Daddy looked exhausted! :) Still with no golf shirt in hand he said Faith wanted to look for a pair of shoes for herself. Of course Daddy can't say no, so they made their way over to the shoes. Dale thought picking out a pair of shoes would be easy (ha!) This is how he said their shoe shopping event went:
He picked a pair out right away he thought she would like:
Faith: "No, not those! And I think I wear a size 10 not a 9." (she was right)
(Daddy continues to show her several other pairs)
Faith: No, No, No
(Daddy finally tells Faith to pick out what she likes)
She picks one out, tries it on and decides no, she doesn't like it.
Faith then tells Daddy, "I think I want sketchers." (oh, so now we are also at specific brands! where does she get this?!!)
They go to the sketchers and Daddy picks one out for her.
Faith: "No, not that one." "I think I want that one waaaay up there." (as she points to one way up on the shelf)
Daddy looks for her size 10 and pulls it down off the shelf.
Faith, "Yes, that one! I love it! I love the S on the side!"
Hee hee!! First thing Dale said when he saw me was now I see how fussy she is!
So, here are Faith's sketchers with the "S" on the side she just had to have!!
(and Dale finally did get his golf shirt!)
There are sooooo many cute Spring clothes out right now! I've been having so much fun shopping for Faith. I have a pretty good sense now for what she likes and if she doesn't like it I just return it. There is a problem however when I order online! I ordered her these cute outfits from Etsy that I just could not resist.........................!

Isn't this dress the cutest? Of course it is a dress and she does not like it. I will have to do some serious bribing to get her to wear it!:)
She loves this one!! It is a skirt and top so this is more her style. I guess one out of two isn't bad!
A couple pictures of my fussy girl just because she is too cute......................

Look what I've been dealing with in my kitchen...............

this is an earthworm crawling across my kitchen floor.......(actually this is a night crawler)

No, our house hasn't been infested with worms. Dean has started his science project on how earth worms effect the growth of plants. He has decided the best place to keep his plants are in my kitchen window. Well, I had no idea there was a difference between earthworms and night crawlers. I picked up a container of night crawlers at Walmart for him. He put them in the plants and later that evening when I came downstairs I found one crawling around the floor. Yuk! These things are huge! Well they kept crawling out so we did some investigating and decided earthworms would be better. After trying to dig some up outside with no such luck we called the pet store and found some nice small earthworms. Much better! They are happily living underneath the dirt in my kitchen window! Now he has 5 weeks to see how the plants grow.
(Maybe we'll do a blog on his project!:)

Wow, Dean has a lot more patience than Mike! :-) I just can't imagine he and Katie-Beth shopping together! Actually Katie-Beth is an amazing shopper, she's in, she's out always with the absolute perfect item! She can spy the perfect thing a store away! Now if I could just get her to check the sizes, she won't ever need along again!

Have a great Easter!

My twins will not buy a pair of shoes that can't match and they are only three!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel for you with the night crawlers....Shannon and Erin brought in a slug and he has been living in a jar in my kitchen for two weeks. We feed him letuce and apples, he seems quite happy to be here. I have to wash out his jar daily. WHO KNEW!!!

I need to post this on my blog for all my firends to see, they would never believe it otherwise!!!
