This weeks photo challenge is no flash...using natural light. I love no flash photos, but still have so much to learn so I am really excited about this week. I plan to learn all that I can from everyone and look forward to checking out all the fantastic photos at i heart faces.
I had a tough time on deciding which photo to use this week and I originally had big plans to practice on 2 of my children that are home right now on Spring break. Forget it. They want nothing to do with the camera on their break and that was a very bad idea!:0
I decided on this photo of Faith because it was this photo that I used in learning how to enlarge my prints on my blog with the help of "i heart faces." They took me right through the steps and I am so grateful. I can't believe I actually figured it out!!:) I love how the natural light just enhanced her eyes in this picture.

Wow Colleen!! These shots are just amazing!!!! And what a gorgeous little face!!!!!!!
What a sweet smile...I love the enlarged pictures. I was lazy on my last post and did not enlarge them:(
Oh, Colleen, such a beautiful photo of Faith! I so admire your photography skills ... of course, it helps to have such a gorgeous and cooperative subject! Most of our photos need to be impromptu rather than posed! We're still working on transitioning from the 'silly smile' to something that doesn't look like she's a bit ... er ... constipated! ;o)
lots of love,

Hi Colleen,
In answer to your question, I think two exchange students at a time would be fun and much easier on the girls.
We had two students from Taiwan and I adored them as a team!
My heart often went out to Chen because she was alone in a foreign country and I knew it was hard on her though she was very careful not to mention it.
xx
What an adorable picture!!!!!! My older boys don't let me practice much on them either LOL but I do sneak some in.
I love this picture that you chose.
