I have just searched ALL over town for them and have had no luck at all! I need them for Faith's class by tomorrow! On Monday her teacher had a sign up sheet to volunteer to bring in food for an alphabet soup project they are making. Normally I'm the one volunteering to bring in the food that needs preparing. As I searched the list I decided to pass up the sliced green apple pieces and go for something easy this time..........a box of alphabet cereal! I am thinking hey this will be easy....I'll just run in a store and grab a box! Ha! Today I spent my entire afternoon going to every grocery store including Target and Walmart and not ONE box of Alphabit cereal! Do they even make it anymore??? After searching everywhere and before heading home frustrated I stopped off at one of the grocery stores again and picked up some small cookies in letter shapes that I noticed they had at the bakery. I am hoping these will do!!! My first Mommy project for Faith's Kindergarten class and I have failed! Next time I go for preparing food!!!! It's much easier!:)
New post on Faith's blog!!!!!
Well, I never did find the alphabits, but apparently they do still make them! Faith's teacher found some near her house, but thankfully she didn't hold it against me;)! I guess others had a tough time finding them so I didn't feel so bad. And the cookies I got ended up being a big hit too!

I just bought them yesterday at Walmart!! Hoping you find some!
I can't believe you just bought these....that is so funny!!! Our Walmart didn't have them!
Oh yes, I definitely remember these. We used them last year in centers in first grade. A parent of mine always seemed to keep me stocked. I am sorry you had such a difficult time locating them.
I just now realized that Faith had a blog. I will be visiting it now : )
She is so beautiful and looks so studious while doing her homework!!!
I would have thought that was an easy one too.
Hey, can I have an invite to Faiths blog? pretty please.

I have not seen that~ but I am going to go hunting!!!
Isn't it funny how the seemingly simplest tasks can end up being the most time consuming? Now watch...you will see them everywhere when you don't need them. lol!
Have a great week-end!!!
I thought they still had them :) LOL!! I am sure that the cookies will do just fine!
Who knew that Alpha-Bits weren't around anymore??? It sounds like something that would happen to me though. Glad you were able to find a replacement. What a pain huh?
hugs,
Jonni
Oh! How I miss so many things from the USA! Can't find these here in the UK but I hope you had better luck!
I am always asking my sister-in-law to send me a care package of stuff from America! You'd think I lived in Siberia! LOL
I'm homebound for a while as I broke my arm last Wednesday! Sigh. Walking Bella at a nature reserve ... involves a steep trail, lots of mud and a boisterous huge puppy!
So a little tiny bit more time for interet friends!
lots of love,

That is so funny! who knew that they would stop having a cereal around all of the sufden. Where do these theings go!? Do you remrmber King Vitamin? That was my favorite and it only lasted a few years. Captian crunch with crowns., oh well.
When is back to school night./ that alwasy feels busy to me.
Hi, love your blog, I remember following your journey when you were in China while I was still waiting for my baby - boy how time flies hey? My little one goes to kindergarden too.
Love Julia
