We're busy having a fun week with my sister so I am taking a break from blogging, but I just had to post a few pictures of our KINDERGARTENER taken before going to her first day of school! And yes, Mommy survived! (barely) (I think having my sister here helped!:)

Congratulations Faith! You are going to have a great year and will learn so much! Be brave for your mommy and have a lot of fun learning! : )
Way to go Faith! I know you'll do great in school!
Oh my friend what a big hurdle you over came ~ I am so proud of you!!! Faith too of course but as all us moms know it is MUCH MUCH harder on us ; )
Hi Colleen,
I just saw a link to your blog on Daleea's China website and I was looking through the pictures and I said "what a minute" I know that statue with the baby and that area, that's Gansu! Our daughter was adopted from the Jinchang City SWI last August and we stayed in Luanzhou at the JJ Sun Hotel. It's so nice to meet you since not many babies are adopted from our daughters region so I had to say "hi". Faith is beautiful and I hope her first day of Kindergarten was awesome.
hugs,
Jonni
Oh, I have almost those same shots of Britton. The back pack is always huge! It goes by way too fast! She looks excited and I am so glad you made it. its harder on us by far!!!!
Oh my gosh; I LOVE first day of school pictures!! Even though we home school, we still take pictures the first day of school!!
Girl - you already look fabulous! I think the 2 things that have helped me be healthier is running (or walking) and cutting out ALL High Fructose Corn Syrup - it IS the enemy!! And it is in soo much stuff that we don't realize!
Oh YEA! What cute photos!!
I am sending Elliot off in two weeks for the first time too! :0
Thanks for the comment and for thinking of us. :)
Faith is just beautiful and she looks so proud on her first day of school!
I am living vicariously through your experience, Colleen, and can imagine the range of emotions of such a huge milestone for Faith!
In just one year our daughter will start school (But she'll have just turned 4 a few weeks before she starts! They do start them early here in the UK!) ;o(
But what a big grown up girl Faith looks now even though she's really still your sweet little treasure!
lots of love from all of us here in the UK!
